SURF L - Smart Laurel
Convertible Surf L Model: Versatility, Comfort and Capacity
We designed the convertible Surf L model with maximum functionality in mind — and we achieved it.
It can be used as a crossbody bag, a shopper, a handbag, a stroller bag and a backpack.
As a soft bag, it adapts perfectly to the body, making it one of our most comfortable models.
It is also one of the models with the greatest internal capacity. If it’s not too full, it can be worn as a crossbody with a flap, but when more space is needed, it can be opened up to carry far more than you might expect (containers, bottles, jacket, etc.).
The integrated strap is adjustable thanks to a tensioner and can be positioned in different ways using the carabiners.
It features 2 interior quick-access pockets and 2 exterior ones, which, thanks to the fold created by the flap, remain fully closed. The interior lining is made of grey polyester microfiber and includes the 2 quick-access pockets, as well as our built-in interior lighting system.
Exclusive material: SMART
The Surf L model is made from Smart, a high-performance technical material selected for its reliability and durability. Its slightly textured surface adds character and a refined, elegant finish, along with a distinctive and pleasant feel.
🔹 Waterproof and easy to clean, designed for everyday use.
🔹 Flame-retardant, stain-resistant, hypoallergenic and antistatic, built for protection and durability.
🔹 Highly resistant and stable, it keeps its shape and appearance over time.
Smart is not a proprietary development, but a carefully selected material chosen for its technical qualities and real-world performance. A reliable solution that balances functionality, durability and aesthetics.
Note on use
Our bags are made with technical, durable materials, designed for everyday use. However, in some cases, prolonged contact with intensely dyed or poorly fixed fabrics (such as dark denim, jackets or strongly dyed textiles) may cause slight — or sometimes more noticeable — color transfer, especially on lighter-colored models.
This is a common phenomenon in the textile world and can affect any surface, regardless of its composition, quality or price. For this reason, we recommend avoiding prolonged friction with this type of garment, especially when they are damp or in warm conditions.
With a little care, your Babau will stay looking great for a long time.

Light forever
With just the press of a button, the interior will light up, allowing you to easily find what you are looking for, and after about fifteen seconds the light will fade away automatically.
It works with two batteries hidden in a small pocket and they can last more than 3 years with normal use.
Most often, you will get used to your bag having an interior light, and once you reach this point, there is no turning back—you will want light forever ;)
